Our story

Mountaintop Wealth was inspired by Martin Luther King Jr.’s final speech and the broader civil rights movement. We have established the firm with a clear purpose: to help people find financial freedom and reach their own version of the mountaintop. 

We are a flat fee financial advisory firm that provides recommendations, comprehensive financial planning, and wealth management. That means we can give you money advice, craft a detailed plan for your finances, or manage investments for a fixed rate.

  We never charge or receive commissions from banks, brokerages, or insurance companies. We did this for our clients, so they know our recommendations of products and services are not influenced by making sales commissions. 

Our founder, Roland McIntyre’s journey began with an academic background in accounting and an MBA in finance, combined with 12 years of experience in the financial services industry. As an Air Force veteran and a Certified Financial Planner Professional, Roland brings a disciplined yet empathetic approach to his work.

At the core of Mountaintop Wealth is a commitment to values. The firm operates with integrity, excellence, and a deep-rooted belief in service. Roland is a fiduciary, putting clients’ interests first and offering transparent, honest advice. We strive to listen without judgment and help clients organize, strategize, and mobilize their assets through life’s transitions.

Roland is dedicated to his community. He works with organizations like the Urban League, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated and is featured in local media for his passion for financial education. In his free time, he enjoys spending quality time in parks, watching tv shows like Severance, From, and Game of Thrones with his wife Kesha and 15-year-old son Roland the IV.
